Nick Mattson (born October 25, 1991) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman who is currently playing under contract to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League (AHL). Mattson was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 6th round (180th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Mattson's earliest development began as a youth in the Chaska Chanhassen hockey Association of the CCHA.
